Rebel Shifter Coming Soon.

Coming soon....

Leotie’s life as a shifter continues as she lives a bleak existence in the frozen woods of North Erie territory with her clan. One day, she meets a mortal living on the edge of town. Somehow, she can’t stop thinking about the Scotsman who loves to hunt. She longs to be with him, but the clan needs her to survive. Soon her master returns demanding that she go with him and be his partner in battle. Once again, she’s torn away from the man she loves unless she can find the strength to defeat Markus once and for all.

Rebel Shifter should be out early December or maybe a little sooner. In any case, it won’t be too much longer. Over the weekend, I discovered that one could also have Scrivener on an iPhone. Scrivener is the word processing program that I switched to after using Word for years. It’s really more than just a word processing program, so be sure to check it out.

And now…you can work at home or on your IPhone. This requires the use of Dropbox to sync the files. I’m sure I was late in this discovery. Scrivener has helped me so much already that having it mobile is going to be like giving me super powers. I know you can also do this with Ipad and perhaps some other devices. Kindle isn’t one of them, at least not yet.

So I had a free Dropbox account, but decided to go paid over the weekend, not because of Scrivener, but because about six weeks ago, Windows 10 crashed my computer. I had backups, but they weren’t as current as I would’ve liked. Fortunately, I had emailed copies of covers and manuscripts to myself and beta readers/reviewers. So I did have current backups of the most current projects in my email.

Anyway, I got lucky and managed to hack my way into doing a system restore and copied ALL my files over to a portable hard drive. My computer seemed okay at first. I even did more writing that evening, but then it crashed again. My only guess to why it happened is that the day before there was some sort of update.

So I gave it to my son who also was able to back up the files, and (to keep things short) he fixed it. Bit by bit, I had to reinstall programs. One good thing, I already had Native Shifter uploaded to Kindle, waiting to be published.

Anyway, Dropbox should keep my files backups current.

Have a great Thanksgiving everyone.
