This year I finally finished the A to Z challenge. I’m happy to have made it. There were times during the challenge that I thought “Why am I doing this?” In general, I find blogging to be the most time consuming form of social media. I have gone back and forth a lot, unsure if blogging is a worthwhile. But on the other hand, blogging is your web presence. You have the most control over it unlike Facebook where they limit the amount of people who see your posts unless you pay a fee. More blog posts lead to more visits to your site, and I had a good increase during the challenge.
This sort of reminds me of the same satisfaction when I finished Nano. Overall, I discovered that I can post more to my blog. Having a theme definitely helps.
I met some new bloggers which was good and only wish I could’ve visited more blogs.
My goal is now to post at least twice a week to my blog. I don’t have an exact schedule, but some topics will be about: Technology, Writing, Books, and Young Adult topics, Paranormal, and Historical. Some of these topics are to go along with my currently published books or ones that may be coming soon.
Will I do A to Z next year? I’m leaning toward yes.
