|A camp in Lapeer, Michigan|
Home life has been busy because it’s approaching the end of the school year with all these last minute projects and field trips for my kids. My son is graduating this year, and I’ve been helping him study for finals and getting him enrolled in college for next fall.
Then I went on a camping trip with my daughter’s 6th grade class. The first day was nice, but the second day it rained. Some of activities the kids did turned out to be somewhat beneficial to one story I wanted to write because the activities were related to Native Americans. We went around making bracelets out of copper, eating various leaves (which I didn’t think had much flavor) and making fire by striking rocks together. I could get a spark going, but my daughter didn’t have much luck. The wind didn’t help either.
As for my blog, I’ve decided I really want to write more books, and the blog just has to take a backseat. However, if I get a sudden inspiration for a blog post or something interesting happens, I will be sure to post about it.
